Among the more obvious visitors such as the Red Fox, Rabbit, and Mole, are some smaller residents that include the Common Shrew and Wood Mouse. Occasionally, a Roe Deer or two can be seen browsing at night. Also at night, Common Pipistrelle bats can be seen flitting around at night as they hunt for their next mouthful. A Pipistrelle can catch up to 3,000 midges in one night.
